​EB2 and VM1 brake controllers that operate when connected via the Elecbrakes app will occasionally send brake controller telemetry information to Elecbrakes. This data is used to assist in customer service enquiries by providing brake controller settings, input and output voltages, and bluetooth signal strength information, which allows us to diagnose potential issues quickly and efficiently.  This data contains no personally identifiable or location information.
