Transforming Towing, One Innovation at a Time

The idea for Elecbrakes came from a frustratingly common issue. Founder Craig de Leon wanted to borrow his in-laws’ caravan, but his vehicle didn’t have an electric brake controller. Fitting one meant modifying the dashboard, complex wiring, and significant time and cost.

That experience sparked a question: why wasn’t there a smarter, more flexible solution? Together with his wife Katrina, Craig set out to reimagine what a brake controller could be, and Elecbrakes was born.

After nearly a decade of innovation, our vision remains strong: to deliver world-class towing technology, made in Australia, for all roads and drivers.
