How to connect and control with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto™
Your iPhone comes with Apple CarPlay built-in, so no download is necessary. For Android users, you’ll need to download the Android Auto App. Once the app is paired follow these simple steps to get started:
- Connect your phone – Connect your phone to your tow vehicle’s Apple CarPlay or Android Auto enabled head unit. Make sure both your phone and vehicle are in Bluetooth mode, then pair them according to your vehicle’s manual.
- Access your apps – Once connected, your home screen will display compatible apps. Swipe right to browse through all available apps on your system.
- Launch the Elecbrakes app – Tap the Elecbrakes App to open it. From the app’s home screen, you’ll have access to the override button, all of your brake response settings, and your saved brake profiles.
- Manage your brake settings – Easily adjust your braking settings directly from your dashboard, and get real-time information on your connected brake controller.
